Great news… this month, our Team of the Month award goes to our often “unsung heroes” behind the scenes – our incredible Business Support team. Natasha Newman and Faye Hallows (Accounts Administrators), Dave Martin (Vetting and Recruitment Coordinator), and Grace Skinner (Payroll and HR Administrator) are all worthy winners of the team award.

A strong back-of-house team is vital for our daily operations, boosting efficiency, and ensuring we follow policies and procedures. They handle crucial logistical tasks and support excellent communication, allowing everyone else to focus on their daily duties and the company's strategic goals. Their work is essential for productivity, employee satisfaction, and the long-term growth of our organisation.

The vital work that Dave, Grace, Faye, and Natasha do includes managing recruitment, credit control, and running the purchase ledger. They are also responsible for reconciling bank accounts, paying suppliers, and uploading invoices. On the HR side, they process payroll, handle holiday records, sick notes, and maternity and paternity leave, all while ensuring everyone is paid on time and correctly so that our colleagues feel valued and supported.

Their manager Jo Fairchild, who is currently on maternity leave, was told all about their great work and award, and passed on the following praise: “I am so happy that the administration / business support team have won Team of the Month; it is very well deserved. I see the hard work they all put in day-to-day and it is great that this is being acknowledged by the company and seen by others. I am currently on maternity leave, and Grace has recently returned from maternity leave, but my colleagues’ hard work, reliability and team work have ensured that some of the most important tasks within a growing company have been completed on time and always to the highest standard. I am extremely proud of them all.”
